"Jamie is an amazing real estate agent. When my family was planning to relocate back to the Boston area from Portland, Oregon, I reached out to Jamie to help us. We have two small children and wouldn’t be able to fly to MA to view homes, so I knew it was important to have an agent we could trust. As we began our search, Jamie was very thorough in getting an understanding of what we felt were the most important features for a home and neighborhood to have. Jamie regularly sent us listings that she felt (and we agreed) met these criteria. When we found a home we were interested in, Jamie would attend the Open House and Facetime with us on a virtual tour. Often, Jamie worked with the listing agent to be able to arrive to the Open House early so that we had an easier time looking at the home virtually. Throughout our home-buying process, we deprioritized features in homes and neighborhoods that were important to us, and we also changed which towns we were looking in. Jamie never pressured us in the home-buying process, and she gave us guidance on how to make a strong offer, and she was spot on with what offers were winning in the seller’s market we were in. After going through several rejections, we finally found an amazing home that we didn’t want to lose. Jamie helped us craft a strong offer, which ended up winning us the house of our dreams. Jamie’s knowledge about the market, relationships with other agents, guidance on what was required to make a strong offer, and Facetime skills were top-notch. While planning a cross-country move with small kids and purchasing a home without ever seeing it may seem stressful, Jamie truly helped us to not feel overly stressed about the process. We’ve been in our home for two months now and couldn’t be happier. We hope that we don’t have to move for a couple more decades, but if we find ourselves needing to get back out in the market. She provided advice and guidance beyond anyone I have previously worked with, and even helped to accommodate our children while we navigated the complexities of buying a house during the 2020 Quarantine.
